About Zincite
La zincita es un mineral de óxido de zinc de llamativo color rojo anaranjado a amarillo, con un intenso brillo subadamantino. Los cristales naturales bien formados son extremadamente raros; la mayoría de los especímenes disponibles en el mercado son subproductos de fundiciones de zinc polacas. Sus cristales hexagonales de gran tamaño producidos accidentalmente en la mina Silesia de Polonia son muy apreciados por los coleccionistas. La zincita natural se halla principalmente en Franklin (Nueva Jersey, EE. UU.).
