About Herderite
La herderita es un raro fluorfosfato de calcio y berilio que forma cristales prismáticos o en barril de color incoloro, amarillo pálido, verde pálido o violáceo en pegmatitas de berilio. Los más finos especímenes transparentes de calidad gemológica provienen de Brasil y Maine; los cristales de mayor tamaño de Myanmar también han producido gemas facetadas de coleccionista. Su rareza y excelente brillo la hacen muy apreciada por los coleccionistas de gemas de fosfato.
