About Zincite
A zincite é um mineral de óxido de zinco e manganês que ocorre naturalmente em cristais hexagonais laranja-avermelhados a amarelos profundos com um lustre subadamantino. Os exemplares mais notáveis provêm da mina Franklin, em Nova Jérsia, EUA. Cristais sintéticos de grande dimensão, produzidos como subproduto de fundições de zinco, são mais comuns no comércio e podem ser incolores, amarelos, verdes ou vermelhos, sendo frequentemente vendidos como gemas sintéticas.
