About Zoisite

La zoisita es un mineral de silicato de calcio y aluminio que existe en varias variedades: la tanzanita (azul-violeta), la thulita (rosa) y la anyolita (mezcla verde con rubí). La tanzanita es con diferencia la variedad más famosa y valiosa. La zoisita también aparece en forma masiva verde oscura con cristales de rubí rojo incrustados, conocida como «anyolita» o «zoisita con rubí», muy popular en decoración y joyería artesanal. Se extrae principalmente en Tanzania, Noruega y Austria.
