About Mohawkite
La mohawkita es una aleación natural de cobre y arsénico de color gris plateado a bronce con lustre metálico, históricamente confundida con arseniuro de cobre. Se halló por primera vez en la Península de Keweenaw, en Michigan (EE. UU.), junto a la nativa del cobre, y lleva el nombre del río Mohawk de esa región. Es un mineral raro y coleccionable de interés principalmente para especialistas en minerales metálicos nativos y geologías del cobre lacustre.
