About Ludlamite
La ludlamita es un fosfato de hierro hidratado que forma cristales tabulares de un delicado verde manzana a verde menta con un lustre vítreo, extremadamente raros en estado transparente y facetable. Se origina en las zonas de oxidación de los depósitos de fosfatos ferrosos, principalmente en Cornualles (Reino Unido), Bolivia y Brasil. Sus cristales bien desarrollados son muy buscados por los coleccionistas de minerales raros, siendo casi imposible encontrar gemas facetadas de tamaño significativo.
