About Legrandite
La legrandita es un raro silicato de zinc y arsénico que destaca por sus brillantes cristales amarillo limón a amarillo anaranjado de forma prismática con terminaciones piramidales, dotados de un lustre adamantino. Se forma en las zonas de oxidación de los depósitos de sulfuros de zinc y arsénico, siendo la mina Ojuela de Mapimí, en México, su fuente más emblemática. Por su rareza y la belleza de sus cristales perfectamente formados, es una de las gemas de colección más codiciadas entre los amantes de los minerales raros.
