About Legrandite
Legrandite é um raro mineral de arsenato de zinco que forma cristais prismáticos amarelos translúcidos de beleza invulgar. Descoberta em 1932 na mina Flor de Peña, no México, permanece uma das gemas mais escassas do mundo mineral. A sua intensa cor amarela dourada, combinada com um brilho adamantino, torna-a muito apreciada por colecionadores. O Museu de História Natural de Smithsonian possui alguns dos melhores exemplares conhecidos. A ocorrência limita-se a poucos locais em todo o mundo, tornando amostras de qualidade gemológica extremamente raras.
