About Hübnerite
A hubnerite é um tungstato de manganês que ocorre em cristais prismáticos de cor castanho-avermelhada a preta com um brilho resinoso a metálico subadamantino. É o membro rico em manganês da série wolframite. Os cristais de boa qualidade são apreciados por colecionadores de minerais. O Peru é uma das fontes mais importantes de belos cristais de hubnerite. Embora seja raramente usada em joalharia, os cristais isolados têm um interesse estético e mineralógico significativo.
