About Narsarsukite

ナルサルスキアイトは、希少なナトリウム・鉄・チタン・ケイ酸塩鉱物で、アルカリ性火成岩やネフェリン閃長岩中に黄色〜蜂蜜褐色または緑がかった正方晶系結晶を形成し、硝子光沢を示します。1900年にグリーンランドのナルサルスーア（ナルサルスク）で最初に記載され、カナダ・ケベック州のモン・サン・ティレール複合岩体やオンタリオ州にも産出します。透明な黄色のファセット素材は純粋に鉱物学的意義を持つ希少なコレクター宝石です。
