About Chrome Pyrope

クロムパイロープは通常のパイロープに典型的な鉄ではなくクロムによって着色された、深く強烈に飽和した赤色ガーネットです。アリゾナ州とニューメキシコ州のアリ塚砂漠に産し「アントヒル・ガーネット」とも呼ばれる小さな標本が有名です。その暗く純粋な赤色は宝石品質として高く評価され、デマントイドに次ぐガーネット族の優れた宝石です。
