About Zoisite

조이사이트는 칼슘-알루미늄 규산염 광물로, 탄자나이트(청보라색)·투율라이트(분홍색)·루비 조이사이트(녹색 조이사이트 속 붉은 루비) 등 여러 유명 보석 품종을 포함합니다. 오스트리아 조이스 남작에 의해 1805년 처음 기재되었으며, 탄자니아·케냐·오스트리아·노르웨이·파키스탄이 주요 산지입니다. 조이사이트 내에 루비가 공생하는 '루비 조이사이트' 표본은 독특한 색상 조합으로 장식 공예에 즐겨 사용됩니다.
