About Pyrargyrite
La pirargirita, o rubí de plata oscuro, es un sulfosal de plata de color rojo rubí intenso a negro con un lustre adamantino a metálico y notable transparencia en fragmentos delgados. Se halla en venas hidrotermales de plata junto a otros minerales de plata y ha sido un importante mineral mena de plata en yacimientos de Alemania, Bolivia, México y Canadá. Los cristales prismáticos perfectos se cuentan entre los ejemplares de mineral rojo más buscados por los coleccionistas.
