Pollucite is a rare cesium-bearing zeolite mineral that typically appears colorless to white or pale pink, with a vitreous luster and good transparency in gem-quality specimens. It is one of the primary natural sources of the rare element cesium and is found in lithium-rich granitic pegmatites in Maine, USA, and Manitoba, Canada. Cut stones are prized by collectors for their rarity rather than brilliance, as the gem is relatively soft.
