About Narsarsukite
Narsarsukite is a rare sodium iron titanium silicate mineral forming yellow to honey-brown or greenish tetragonal crystals with a vitreous luster in alkaline igneous rocks and nepheline syenites. It was first described from Narsarsuk (Narssarsuak) in Greenland in 1900 and occurs additionally in the Mont Saint-Hilaire complex in Quebec, Canada, and in Ontario. Transparent yellow faceted material is a rare collector gem of purely mineralogical significance.
