About Bronzite
Bronzite is a brown to dark green variety of enstatite pyroxene with a distinctive sub-metallic, bronze-like schiller caused by oriented iron-rich inclusions that reflect light in a warm, burnished glow. Found in ultrabasic igneous rocks and meteorites, it is used mainly as a decorative and lapidary material in cabochons and beads that display its characteristic metallic sheen. Notable sources include Austria, India, and Norway.
