About Natrolite
Natrolite is a sodium aluminum silicate zeolite mineral forming colorless to white, pale yellow, or pale pink needle-like prismatic crystals with a vitreous to silky luster, radiating in characteristic sprays from volcanic cavities and alkaline intrusions. It was named in 1803 after the sodium content (natrium) and is found in localities including the Faroe Islands, Germany, Scotland, and Mont Saint-Hilaire in Quebec. Rare transparent colorless to pale faceted natrolite is a zeolite mineral collector gem.
