About Cobaltite
Cobaltite is a cobalt arsenic sulfide mineral forming bright silver to grayish-white cubic or pseudo-cubic crystals with a metallic luster, found in high-temperature hydrothermal veins and metamorphic rocks in Sweden, Canada, and Democratic Republic of Congo. It is an important cobalt ore mineral and occasionally forms attractive cube crystals used as display specimens. Its mirror-bright, silver metallic sheen on well-formed crystals makes it visually striking.
