About Clinozoisite

Clinozoisite is the monoclinic polymorph of zoisite, forming prismatic gray-green to yellowish-green crystals in metamorphic and some igneous rocks worldwide. Occasionally transparent pink or colorless material is faceted as a collector gemstone, though clinozoisite is rarely distinguished from zoisite in the gem trade and most material is labeled simply as zoisite. Fine transparent greenish crystals from Baja California, Mexico, are among the more notable gem specimens.
