About Lepidolite
Lepidolite is a lithium potassium aluminum fluorosilicate mica, characterized by its distinctive lilac to violet, pink, or colorless scaly to platey masses with a pearlescent to vitreous luster. It is a major source of lithium ore and forms in granitic pegmatites worldwide, particularly in Brazil, Madagascar, Zimbabwe, and the United States, commonly associated with tourmaline, beryl, and other lithium minerals.
