About Eudialyte

Eudialyte is a complex sodium calcium zirconium cyclosilicate mineral forming pink to red, brownish, or yellowish massive and granular aggregates in nepheline syenites, most famously in the Kola Peninsula of Russia and at Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec. Its vivid, mottled raspberry to cranberry-red coloration makes polished eudialyte lapidary material visually striking, and it is used for cabochons and decorative carved objects. Gem-quality transparent crystals are extremely rare.
