About Esperite
Esperite is a very rare calcium zinc silicate mineral found almost exclusively in the zinc mining district of Franklin, New Jersey, USA, one of the world's most remarkable localities for fluorescent minerals. It typically appears colorless to white under normal light but fluoresces a vivid yellow under UV illumination, making it a prized component of fluorescent mineral collections. Faceted esperite is an extreme rarity known only to advanced collectors.
