About Boleite
Boleite is an extremely rare and beautiful deep indigo-blue lead copper silver chloride mineral that forms perfect cubic crystals in the oxidized zones of copper-lead deposits, most famously at Boleo in Baja California, Mexico. Its vivid, saturated blue color and geometric crystal habit make it one of the most aesthetically striking rare minerals in existence. Due to its extraordinary rarity and fragility, boleite is collected only as a display mineral and is never cut.
